one garden every mile

Huerta del Valle is a nonprofit grassroots organization serving the Inland Empire region of Southern California, a network of urban farms and community gardens working for an equitable food system to provide healthy organic produce for all.

We envision a future where fresh, local, and sustainably produced food is available to everyone in the Inland Valley region. That means building a garden for every square mile of residential space from Temecula to Needles, because no one should have to travel far to find delicious, nutritious and fair food.

We work towards this future in community spaces where ordinary people can learn about problems related to food access, nutrition, sustainability and more, while actively practicing their solutions and growing their own food..

Harvest Box

Subscribe and pick up a box of produce every other week, containing a mix of fruits, vegetables, and herbs harvested directly from our farm sites! We like to think of our CSA Harvest Box program as a mutual aid initiative. Healthy and organic food is the best form of preventive medicine; and your continued support directly aids our farmers and operations to keep growing.  This subscription consists of the entire 2024 season of boxes, March to December. Late enrollment eligible. Upfront or Recurring payment options. Mini or Regular size. Delivery fee charge or pick up options.

Volunteer with us!

Volunteers are welcome to help out at Huerta del Valle garden sites! Volunteers can complete community service hours for school, court, or social service programs. Volunteers can also trade one hour of volunteering for one item of produce at our markets. If you would like to bring a group from your organization to volunteer, please contact us in advance to schedule.
